::the world did not end.  at least not yet. 
::the kiddos didn't wake up until 8:00.  hallelujah.  i love school break.
::the sun is shining but it is nothing but freezing outside.  so thankful for our warm cozy house.
::i get to vacuum.  thank you son.  thank you for the extra motivation i needed to get some housework done :)

::we get to enjoy being home together without much of a schedule.  i love having my kiddos home from school - even though we can all go a little nutso sometimes.  it really is awesome to have my family together.  now, if only husband had christmas break too...

::son will get uninterrupted naps.  no driving here or there during nap time.  it's a beautiful thing.

::we pick up our honey baked ham for christmas eve dinner.  oh baby.

::i think i'll get some wrapping done.  i think i might be more excited for my kiddos to open their presents than they are.

::we'll listen to some more christmas music and count down one more day on our advent calendar.

::i get to go on a date with husband and some friends to see the hobbit.  so excited.  i love going the movies with my man.

 

I think it's going to be a great day.
