So...A Baptism

First Daughter on her baptism day, June 1, 2013
Yesterday was a great day.
First Daughter was baptized and it was very special.
She was beaming all morning and excited for her special day.
We were overwhelmed by the amount of love and support we felt from all of our family and friends that were there with us.  Both sets of grandparents came from out of town, one set of great-grandparents, uncles and aunts, lots of cousins, and lots of friends.  It meant a lot to her, and to our family, to have so many people there for her special day.

The ordinance was beautiful.  The talks given by grandmas were special.  The three daughters sang a song together that filled my heart.  The confirmation was powerful.  There was a strong feeling of love there.  It was pretty awesome.

On our drive home, we talked with First Daughter about how blessed she is to have so many people in her life that love her.  We talked about how she never needs to feel alone because there are so many people in her life that are there for her - to love her, help her, listen to her, give her advice when needed, and more.  And even in those times when she may feel alone, she now has the gift of the Holy Ghost, to have with her as a constant companion.  She felt really good about that and I could tell it really meant a lot to her.

It was a wonderful day.
I love this girl so much.
