New Years Eve 2007
New Years Eve 2007 was our first annual Rockband Rockin' In the New Year party. We indulged in fondue, fudge, chips + salsa, and way too much video games as we do every year. First Daughter was 2, and she joined in the festivities. That year we let her stay up as late as she wanted, assuming that she would eventually crash. There weren't any kids there for her to play with and we were playing Rockband all night. She didn't crash though. She stayed awake long enough to see the ball drop, bang on pots and pans, and watch Mom & Dad crash shortly after midnight. She was a rockstar all night, rockin out to "Get It With the Pet Shop," more commonly known as "Hit Me With Your Best Shot." :)
We've rocked the Rockband party every New Years Eve since, and will be again this year. This year we'll have a house full of family, which will make it even better.
We're pretty stoked.
