Second Daughter's blessing day, June, 2007

We look so young to me in this picture.
We definitely were still working on figuring things out - how to be parents, how to be grown ups, learning a lot about each other, developing our own family culture/values, etc. etc.

It feels like this was so long ago, yet time has simply flown by.
At times it's hard to remember what it felt like to be a mom of two, yet I have fond memories of my two little girlies.

This was the day that Second Daughter was blessed.
We had many of our family members and friends there.
We have always felt overwhelmed by the love and support we feel from our two families.

Husband gave a very thoughtful, special blessing to Second Daughter that day.
It's hard for me to remember details from blessings, but not hard to remember the feelings.
My kids are so lucky to have such a loving father that honors the priesthood and uses it to bless them.
Seriously such a blessing in our home.
