Farewell, sweet dream.
I have other things to do.
A whole lifetime of mornings
to wake me up from you.
Each day I am discouraged
when I realize you cannot stay
by my side to push me forward,
give me confidence in your subtle way.
I know I cannot keep you,
to embrace me and make me shine.
Though we need to part our ways,
Sweet dream, you are always mine.
