This poem was written from a Poetic Asides prompt about a plant.
I'm having a hard time getting beyond the prompt and thinking of a good title for this poem.
Any ideas?
Help me please.
Plant
A seed
that contains
everything needed
to grow into a plant
if buried in fertile soil
given water and sunshine
and time to grow deep roots
will push through the surface
reach up to the sky toward the warmth
of the light of the high sun
and reach its potential
of color and beauty
as a flower
from the soil
that is fertile
and contains
a seed.

I was going to suggest Potential but you ended up using that word in the poem - so...I don't know - would that be kosher?
